'''Silicon Dreams''' - игровая трилогия в жанре interactive fiction, разработанная фирмой [[Level 9 Computing ]] в 80-х годах. Первая игра трилогии - "Snowball" была выпущена в 1983 г., через год появилась "Return to Eden", затем, в 1985-м, "The Worm in Paradise". В следующем году они были объединены в бандл как первая, вторая и третья (заключительная) части трилогии "Silicon Dreams". В первых рекламных объявлениях трилогия называлась "Silicon Dream", позднее название приобрело форму множественного числа.[1]
Как и большинство игр от Level 9, в трилогии используется проприетарный интерпретируемый язык, названный A-кодом, адаптированный для всех основных компьютерных платформ того времени: Amiga, Commodore 64 и ZX Spectrum. Трилогия издавалась на дискетах и на кассетах. Фирма Level 9 выпускала каждую игру по-отдельности, а бандл выпускала компания Telecomsoft, которая продавала его в США под лэйблом "Firebird", а в Европе под лэйблом "Rainbird".[1]
